One of the best methods of learning Xcode is to see how its done by looking at source code, well commented code can help you learn more in a day than a text book can teach you in a month.
Imagine for a moment that you wanted to learn all about how to use Xcode, but you went to the Apple website and you just see tons of stuff that is just overwhelming. The instructions read like a rocket scientist, is trying to tell you how to install a light bulb, (to them it is probably about that way) since your new, a lot of the language they use is based on years of experience, and as long as you have all that experience then you can probably follow the white papers on this, if not then your lost.
Well, we hope to address this issue in the very near future.
We thought that it would be interesting to see just what resources were out there and even the tutorials are complicated, we thought this cant be that hard, but apparently either they (apple) do not want you to learn this stuff or they just are so smart that no one can understand what they are talking about, perhaps it is a little of both.
Even the build your own xcode tutorials, are just not specific enough to get the job done.
There are a few things that we think would be good to use in a tutorial, some methods that are commonly used in educational topics.
With that in mind, we wanted, to explore what it would take to be able to offer an alternative that would provide a better learning experience.
