Bluetooth for the ipad?

Will competing products edge the ipad out of the market place because apples refusal to provide access to the Bluetooth stack?

Blue tooth functionality is becoming more and more popular…

Apple may be on the edge of serious competition for its ipad product.

Update, guess what, there are so many pads on the market that the value of the pad, has gone way down hill yet, still Apple has not adjusted to this new market.

 android…

When will they learn that the market is not the same as it was back in 1999…

Will apple, change its ways or will they continue to disrupt access to hardware that is not owned by them?

What they are doing, is something that is a real problem, allegedly Apple is attempting to apply the same restrictions they apply to software, which is ok I guess, but with hardware, you the consumer are the owner, now Apple, eventually there has to be a stop to this garbage.

Apple allegedly blocks access to the bluetooth stack preventing use by disabled individuals.

For many disabled individuals who are hearing impaired as well as disabled in other ways, the ability to use a bluetooth connected device on the ipad would greatly improve the lives of those individuals, however, allegedly Apple does not allow connections to certain devices that would create a great deal of happiness in the lives of many people who are disabled.

For many disabled people the ability to use speech to text software would be of a tremendous value to them however allegedly apple is not allowing them to connect these devices to the ipad even though the capability allegedly is there already.

Additionally the use of a microphone/headset capable of enhancing hearing is also something to consider.

For many people the idea that they cannot use the hardware that they buy to do the things they want to do is just not a very nice thing to do, we hope that Apple will see the light on this issue and do the right thing.

Apple in violation of FTC guides?

Could Apple be violating some aspects of the new truth in advertising guides that the FTC published over the last few months dealing mostly with deception in advertising and also dealing with misleading data online.

In a very controversial decision to title what is apparently not a professional application as a pro app, could apple be in violation of deception in online advertising?

Depending on who you ask the answer to that question may vary however it might be something for the justice department to have a look at simply because of some very bad press that the apple app store has received and is currently hidden from view where as other apps allegedly have a rating, the most recent and very unpopular (allegedly) final cut pro X has received a lot of negative press however those ratings are no longer visible at this time.

The text of the ratings are visible however the over all rating is not visible, is this a violation and should the justice department investigate apple for deceptive advertising?

Perhaps not, however if users are not able to benefit from the system of ratings as all other users are able that itself is something to consider and it is a very serious matter, if Apple is selectively editing and changing its own ratings for its own products, that could be a serious criminal violation, (allegedly)

The idea that Apple allegedly might be distorting the ratings of its own software sales is something that people should be made aware and if it is allegedly true then something needs to be done to stop this from happening.

No one is above the law and if Apple is doing this they need to stop it right now.

If consumers rate a product as bad, then everyone should be treated the same, if any other rating in the app store is dependent upon consumers ratings, then for certain we need to have that data available.

Reviews that allegedly are faked could result in serious problems for apple if it turns out that the same IP addresses are being used to submit positive ratings.

Ipad 2 thinner…

Perhaps it is good to wait, to see what will happen, simply because there is a very real need for improvement.

So what is in a feature, because that seems to be about what they are offering on the ipad 2, thin my be in but is it really all that?

Likely the answer to that question is a big fat no.

While thin may be good, it may not be good for heat displacement, which might allegedly become an issue for the new thinner ipad, smaller thinner, and no were not talking about Stephen King here, but the size of the latest tablet, which sadly will not have access to blue tooth, and it will not have access for an SD card, slot, as many of the other competitors, will have.

You have to ask just why is it that Apple is doing this, how many people will actually buy the alleged, crippled, device?

Well the ipad 2 is thinner, as well as Steve Jobs, leaving many to speculate about the ability of the company to move forward should

Steve Jobs health cause him to no longer be able to support the company.
