Steve Jobs

It is a sad day, for many Apple Fans, and users, across the world, and additionally to learn that the man was actually so young, it is a loss even among those that perhaps did not like Steve Jobs.

While we did not always see eye to eye on some of the things that Apple did over the years, Steve was certainly a visionary, and you cannot deny his success.

Because of the grey I thought he was a much older man, but that just shows that you can accomplish great things in a short period of time.

the end of Apple

With the loss of Steve Jobs, will apple recover, some say that the best apple had to offer is now in its past.

Well the new CEO of Apple, has wasted no time in devaluing the stock, (allegedly)

With his statement, that the next big thing will be (Printers?)  Really Tim, where were you, HP has been going broke (again allegedly) trying to market high consumable printing materials, over the last two decades, and you know what, it has created a huge problem for environmentalists, I would say figure out a great way to recycle all the old HP printers out there and save the environment.

I do not have to say that if you have apple stock you might consider like jumping ship like right now…

The truth is that thin is in my friends, and printers are not, they consume ink, they consume paper, (trees) they consume electricity, they consume at a rate that you cannot even imagine, yet, this Genius thinks that this is the future, really man if I were on the board of Apple I would be looking for another job like really fast.

I have five junk printers, right now, they all still work, why would I even want another one?

I really miss Steve, I know his health was causing him a problem and likely in the near future we have have even more sad news to think about concerning Steve Jobs, but all in all I am really going to miss Steve.

SAN FRANCISCO—Following the resignation of Apple founder Steve Jobs, incoming CEO Tim Cook called a meeting of shareholders and members of the press Thursday morning to announce that he envisioned printers as the company’s future. “Laser, ink-jet, double-sided, color, black-and-white—the future of technology is in printers. I am absolutely convinced of that,” Cook explained to a packed auditorium as a montage of printers and people using printers played on a screen behind him. “What is the one thing people will always need? It’s obvious: printers. Printers with fax machines attached, printers that collate and staple, perhaps a printer that makes photocopies. Anything’s possible. It’s called innovation.” Cook concluded his remarks by assuring investors the release of upcoming Apple products such as the iPhone 5 would be postponed for at least four years so the company could throw all its time and resources into the creation of high-quality printers for the home and office.

So, What can we expect from Apple?  Looks like it is not as good as we hoped it would be.

Apple Drops FCS

The backlash is huge and it is serious.

Has Apple lost its mind?

In what is akin to being treated like a “red headed step child” apparently and allegedly Apple made a decision to drop Final Cut Studio from its software development process, allegedly and effectively ending its long term development of the software product and allegedly leaving millions of users standing out in the cold.

Recent reviews seem to indicate that there are a lot of people that are not very happy with this.

I am one of those who finally spent the money to purchase a license and ended up with alleged trash instead of a working product, I hate that, in fact I really hate that, apparently a lot of other people feel the same way.

Strangely you find that so often that Apple does things that defy logic this apparently is one of those times.

If you purchased the final cut studio product last year and found that now you have a buggy software suite that does not work as advertised you may consider filing for a class action law suit.

If you have been injured by Apple and its decision to stop producing the Final Cut Studio product You may wish to contact an Attorney to find out if you should pursue a class action settlement.

Allegedly a class action lawsuit would address the concerns that many consumers have about how Apple has treated its customers in regard to continuing sales of its final cut studio products.

So now if you invested in FCS now your trust in Apple may have not been well placed.

Excuses about flash on the ipad

So again someone said that flash was not allowed on the ipad for what reason?

Is Apple making a big mistake in its insistence that the ipad will never run flash?

You just have to wonder, about this because there are many different alternatives that do run flash and for what ever reason, apple is saying that they cant run flash?  What does that tell you about Apple, are they about to be the company of the past instead of the company of the future?

In many ways, you just have to wonder, what they are thinking.

Apple in violation of FTC guides?

Could Apple be violating some aspects of the new truth in advertising guides that the FTC published over the last few months dealing mostly with deception in advertising and also dealing with misleading data online.

In a very controversial decision to title what is apparently not a professional application as a pro app, could apple be in violation of deception in online advertising?

Depending on who you ask the answer to that question may vary however it might be something for the justice department to have a look at simply because of some very bad press that the apple app store has received and is currently hidden from view where as other apps allegedly have a rating, the most recent and very unpopular (allegedly) final cut pro X has received a lot of negative press however those ratings are no longer visible at this time.

The text of the ratings are visible however the over all rating is not visible, is this a violation and should the justice department investigate apple for deceptive advertising?

Perhaps not, however if users are not able to benefit from the system of ratings as all other users are able that itself is something to consider and it is a very serious matter, if Apple is selectively editing and changing its own ratings for its own products, that could be a serious criminal violation, (allegedly)

The idea that Apple allegedly might be distorting the ratings of its own software sales is something that people should be made aware and if it is allegedly true then something needs to be done to stop this from happening.

No one is above the law and if Apple is doing this they need to stop it right now.

If consumers rate a product as bad, then everyone should be treated the same, if any other rating in the app store is dependent upon consumers ratings, then for certain we need to have that data available.

Reviews that allegedly are faked could result in serious problems for apple if it turns out that the same IP addresses are being used to submit positive ratings.
